World Challenge Auction of Promises
Hello, I'm Claire Giblin and I am the new Headteacher at the High School for Girls.
I am looking foward to meeting parents/carers at future school events.
We have launched a consultation exercise this week, first with staff and then with students looking at the future of the school and clearly we would like to get parents and carers involved in that process. You will be receiving an email from me next week on how you can get involved with this.
The biggest question I have been asked over the last week is what is going to change at the High School and will it be different. Well I know the school really well and I know the area as I am from Gloucester myself and I think it is important that we do change over time, however, I also know about the traditions of the school and how important that is to our identity. But change is a good thing too. Excellence is what we strive for here. We are an excellent school and we wish to maintain that status. Excellence is something that changes and morphs over time. This school has changed many times over its history and it is now time for the next chapter of that change. So we look forward to hearing your views on the consultation excercise so that we can forge a vision for the future of the school moving forward together.
I look forward to seeing you soon, thank you.
