European Cyber Challenge Games
Margaret Pang, Y13, was selected for the UK team to complete in the European Cyber Security Challenge in Switzerland this October.
We are delighted to announce that Margaret Pang, an A Level student at the High School, was chosen to represent the UK at the first European Cyber Security Challenges. Margaret was the only female in the UK team and one of only three females who took part in the competition.
The team’s cyber-related aptitudes were tested, including its skills in network analysis, digital forensics and cryptography. The ten young British hackers were supported by mentors provided by sponsors Raytheon (Gloucester firm) and IRM.
The UK team finished 6th. Margaret is a cryptography enthusiast and this enabled her to specialise in dealing with the crypto challenges.
Congratulations to Margaret and the UK Team on their achievements.
