BBC School Report - Profiles

Introducing your 2016 BBC School Report Team...

Anna Hi I’m Anna and I’m 13 and I’ll be 14 in March. I play the clarinet and I do dance lessons outside of school. My favourite subjects are English, Art and Geography. When I’m older I want to be a graphic designer
Harie

Hi! My name is Harie and I’m 13. I wanted to be a BBC School Report writer as I love to read and write and thought that this was a fun and interesting opportunity. Although poems and books are two of my favourite things, I also very much enjoy music; I play the guitar and love to sing also! For a career, I am interested in being a psychotherapist as I enjoy helping other people with problems. I am excited to write about library funding and about how this will impact on us.

Ellen My name is Ellen, and I am interested in taking part in the BBC School Report because I love reading books. I would like to improve my confidence in researching news relevant to me in some way
Nelly

Hello! My name is Nelly, and I am a Y9 student. I have a passion for film making, animals and catching up with news around the world! I wanted to join this program to develop my understanding on how news is made, and the effort put into it beforehand. During my time at BBC School Report I hope to create an interesting story which will inform people about important current events. Maybe one day, one of us will be BBC reporters ourselves!

Lottie

Hello! My name is Lottie Wilkinson and I am in Y9. I am doing BBC School Report because I love writing and I want to be an author. In my spare time, I like reading, writing, spending time with my friends and shopping. Through doing the School Report, I hope to improve my writing skills, as well as learning more about how the news is run.

Amber My name is Amber and I am thirteen years old. I enjoy horse riding, art and science and have interests in animals and the environment. I joined the BBC School Report because I thought it would be a good way to develop my journalistic skills and have had lots of fun so far.
