High School Sixth Form
Within our thriving mixed Sixth Form of approximately 250 students, you will find a friendly and supportive community atmosphere.
Every September, we are delighted to welcome our own Year 11 students and students from numerous other schools into the Sixth Form.
Our students have a wide variety of different aspirations and we support each individual to achieve their personal goals. The majority of our students aspire to study at university. Their chosen degree courses cover a wide range including law, medicine and the performing arts. Students are also supported to secure positions in employment or apprenticeships.
Life at the High School Sixth Form is not just about academic success; it is also about developing as a person and contributing to the school and the wider community. Co-curricular activities and leadership roles, alongside broad tutorial and enrichment programmes and work experience, enable our students to become well-rounded and confident individuals. Whatever their dream, as a school, we encourage and support our students to achieve their potential.
It is with pride, every year, that we celebrate the success of our Sixth Form students at A Level. We look forward to their future successes and to welcoming them back to inspire future generations at the High School.
I look forward to welcoming you to our Sixth Form.
Miss Leathart, Director of Post 16
