Head Girl and Head Boy
Head Girl - Poppy Herold
Having been at the High School for Girls since Year 7, it has become a second home and I couldn't have wished for anywhere better to spend the last 7 years. At the High School it's not just about your academic progress and achievements, it is so much more. It is the experience you have and skills that are developed that create diligent, well rounded individual women. I am incredibly proud of the academic achievements I have made at the High School but what I will treasure most is the friendships and memories I have made and how it has helped shaped me into who I am. I know I still have a lot more to learn but Denmark Road has given me solid foundations that I will need to take the next steps in my future and for that I am eternally grateful.
Head Boy - Jacob Bidmead
I came to the High School in September 2016. I was nervous at first but the welcome, even on the first day, settled my nerves. Not only the teachers but the students really allowed me to adapt as an external student in a very new environment. My first impression of the school was that the teachers really focus on every student and what helps them to improve. The school really allows students with all abilities to excel. These different aspects of the school have allowed me to feel at home and give back in many different ways, as the school has given me many different opportunities. The main aspect of the school that has captivated me is how you feel as if you belong to the school; as if the teachers and students are on the same team.
