Year 7 Parents’/Carers’ Information Evening
Years 10 and 12
Welcome Evenings have been established for Years 10 and 12 where parents/carers are informed about what can be expected as far as academic and pastoral work is concerned during the specific year. Presentations are given by members of the SLT and the appropriate Year Co-ordinator as well as students who talk about their experiences in a given year group. Parents/carers are served light refreshments and have the opportunity to talk to their daughter’s or son’s Form Tutor in a relaxing setting.
Many young people will go through the school and have very few concerns. If this is not the case, however, then we are here to help. Please contact your daughter’s/son’s Form Tutor for minor concerns on firstname.lastname@example.org and the office staff will ensure that the right person receives the information. If it is a more significant issue, please contact the Year Co-ordinator. Please use the above email address and indicate who the email is for. Staff will always try to address your concern and will discuss it with you within 24 hours. Please be assured that our team of Form Tutors and Year Co-ordinators are exceptional in their dealing with the young people in our care and will do their best to resolve academic/pastoral issues. If, at any time, we feel it would be beneficial for your daughter/son to see an outside agency then we will arrange this.
